So this is it. A labour brought to you by new pedalboard configurations. By new gnarly mainstage patches. By the wetness to which we enjoy our reverb. The cover art is apparently a mystery, Chumpy has apparently infused some sort of greater meaning into it, feel free to interpret it! Looks like doughnuts to some of us.

But with our sincerity at the forefront, we hope you enjoy this track and also enjoy the punch we wish to give with our new sound.

We’ve been in recording hibernation for the last couple of months and we’re keen to thrust back into the live music realm. We’re doing so this Saturday @ Kittens (Spectrum, Oxford St) supporting the wonderful Melbournian force, I, A Man.

Here’s the new look website, hope you enjoy it and the content that comes with it! Chumpy could explain the science behind how a Polar Bear spirit can explode violently from a chest of a knight but this post isn’t how his designs have questionable logic!

Just so you’re in the loop it’s been a quiet but busy few months for us, with our beloved bassist Ben Mcnoodles parting ways with us (on good terms!!!) and our new bassist Matt Hogben being knighted (ceremony still pending). We’ve taken a rest from sporadic gigging and are focusing on new tracks and content for ya’all. We’ve hit the record button hard and are looking forward to show you how we’ve evolved!

Without further ado we present to you:

Well technically not free, as you have to spend energy clicking on a couple of links to get there. Let’s just say it’s monetarily free and not physically. We’re all about entertainment with a dusty wallet! Spread le word and tunes people! Available on our bandcampness.

STOREY STREET SESSIONS:

A series of stripped back jams performed in our mate Zab’s backyard. Our first part of the series is one of our newies, “Crumpets“. Hope you rike it!

We’ll be releasing a track in the near future called, “Second Hand Bones,” which we’ll post about in the near future. The weather’s getting colder in Sydney so put on some fur (or grow some) and get psyched to keep warm! Rub yourself sporadically or something! (in G-Rated areas obviously…)

Anyhow it’s good to be back (not that we were away)!

Thanks to the Mayan calendar and its impending doom there is little time for inertness. Rather, it is time to take action and get some shit done!

2012 is going to be a big year for us, we’ve got heaps of gigs lined up and new songs on the way with March lined up to be our “writing month”. We’ll also be releasing a music video for our song Overtime!

We’ve also got a whole bunch of songs to record which we’ll release for digital download, some free and some for the price of a coffee… a very cheap coffee but not a bad coffee. The coffee is quite good in fact and will appease your appetite. Metaphorically.
